What do we treasure?

I’ve had to ask myself at different times this question: am I setting my sights on what is hopeful, great and good? Or, letting thought ponder limited resources, dismal prospects or future failure? Jesus prompted his followers to think deeply about this with these compelling words:

… where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:21)

and

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; (Luke 6:45)

The readings at tonight’s Wednesday Testimony Meeting for the community will focus on what we value and contemplate in thought and what results might stem from this. We will be hearing from our Pastor—two books: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
