Grace for today

Moments of grace come in many ways—a smile from a stranger, forgiveness, help given when unexpected, or patience extended to us when someone is in the middle of a busy day. Christian Science shows the necessity of cultivating grace. We can all learn and express the grace-filled love which Christ Jesus taught and lived.

The textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, is our pastor along with the Bible, on Sundays and Wednesdays at our church services. It includes this wonderful statement:

“What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 4)

Come find out more about the comforting, blessing quality of grace, so needed in the world today. Our Wednesday testimony meeting begins tonight at 7:30 pm in person at Brookdale in Glen Ellyn or by Zoom. You are always welcome!
