Fear not, the Kingdom is God's

In the book of Psalms we read: "the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations". Jesus, his disciples and the apostles proved this in times of fear and persecution.

Stress or fear in the middle of uncertainty about what is happening in our world can be healed now, just as Jesus demonstrated wherever he went in his day. Paul, when in imperial Rome, was guided and protected during encounters with those who opposed his mission. He wrote these words:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
