Prayer for a housing crisis

These attention grabbing words seem to be popping up often: Housing Crisis!

This is tonight’s topic at our Wednesday Testimony Meeting. The Bible says: “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

In Christian Science healing, we begin with God as the only Cause and understand that no evil exists in this infinite and only Cause. So all is spiritual good. Reliance on an unseen (to the material senses) truth may seem hard to grasp but it has shown to bring outward things into harmony over and over again.

The readings tonight will bring out the spiritual idea of housing. Our prayers for the housing crisis in communities of the U.S. and elsewhere, can begin with understanding more about the spiritual meaning of our true house. Come with expectation of healing!
