The Holy Ghost

If you’re familiar with the Bible, you may have heard of the Holy Ghost. What is it and what does it do?

This Wednesday, come and learn more about the Holy Ghost. Our meeting for the community begins at 7:30 pm at Brookdale of Glen Ellyn, located at 60 Nicoll Way. The receptionist at Brookdale can direct you to the meeting room. During the testimony half of the meeting we welcome the sharing of healings in Christian Science.

According to the Scriptures, the Holy Ghost has and can achieve some remarkable things. Here are just a few of the many references:

• “For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, the Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Mark 12:36)

• “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 1:18)

• “For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.” (Luke 12:12)

• “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: (Acts 1:8 ye (to :))
