26 Subjects – Infinite Possibilities

We never stop learning. In 1898, Mary Baker Eddy gave 26 subjects for our weekly Bible Lesson Sermon. New passages from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures are chosen for each lesson. This makes up the sermon that is read in our churches on Sunday.

Anyone can read and study the lesson during the week before it is read in church on Sunday. This leads to fresh insights and understanding. Each subject is presented twice a year in The Christian Science Quarterly publication and every lesson is made up of unique selections from the two books we know as our "Pastor"—the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures which is the Christian Science textbook, by Eddy. These have proven to be an infinite well of inspiration and healing. Each lesson is new and different.
