Are you ready to climb higher in your understanding? It takes some effort but the rewards are worth it. The recent Bible Lesson on Mind had important tips for the “back to school” crowd, and everyone!

Here are a few good ideas I found:

• Know that true wisdom comes from God – infinite Mind.

• Brain is not the source of intelligence.

• Learning self-discipline, with habits of obedience, is fundamental to happiness.

• Thought which is open to the limitless ideas of Mind has enormous possibility.

Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian Science writes: “Academics of the right sort are requisite. Observation, invention, study, and original thought are expansive and should promote the growth of mortal mind out of itself, out of all that is mortal.” Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (page 195)

With the educational ladder before you, have confidence that you reflect the intelligence of infinite Mind. Trusting in this guide will bring a rewarding, limit-shattering and productive year! Our Sunday School, for kids up to age 20, goes hand-in-hand with an academic education. Bring your young friends any Sunday at 10 am. Our church is located at Hawthorne and Main Streets in Glen Ellyn and everyone is always welcome!
