Love is what we all reflect

Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, conveys the spiritual sense of forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, with these words: And Love is reflected in love. (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, page 16)

Our Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly, includes the subject of Love twice a year, and reveals the nature of our divine Parent as infinitely caring Love.  As spiritual offspring, God's children have a loving nature, too.

We can begin to express more of this nature by loving those closest at hand – parents, brothers and sisters, spouse, co-workers, friends, neighbors and even enemies, as Jesus taught. It's all possible, not because we personally possess the ability to love, but because we reflect it from Love, our Father-Mother God.
